How it works
A focused laser beam burns rust, old paint, and surface contaminants off the metal, no media, water, or chemicals involved. There's no blast media to buy, bag, or clean up after, and the base metal underneath keeps its original thickness.
Why it's different from blasting
Sandblasting is faster across big flat surfaces, but it takes a thin layer of metal along with the rust. A laser only removes what doesn't belong there. That matters on precision components, tight tolerances, and anything where losing thickness isn't an option. It's also easier on the shop floor: less dust, less cleanup, no spent media to haul out at the end of the day.
Where we use it
Industrial equipment, machinery components, fabricated parts, commercial vehicles, and specialty restoration jobs where the surface has to come out clean without changing shape or size. If a part is going back into service under tight tolerances, this is usually the right call before it heads to the booth.
