Central Alberta 24/7 response

Keeping Your Equipment Working.

From structural repairs and fabrication to surface preparation, protective coatings, and complete restorations, Solid Equipment Solutions Ltd. helps extend the service life and value of the equipment your operation depends on. Proudly serving Central Alberta from Camrose County.

The math

Replacing costs more than repairing

A new trailer or piece of equipment costs a lot more than putting the one you already own back into shape. Stripping the rust, fixing the damage, and coating it properly runs a fraction of what new costs. You keep a machine your crew already knows how to run.

Buy new

  • Full replacement cost, paid up front.
  • Weeks or months on an order list.
  • You start from zero on a machine you don't know yet.

Restore it

  • A fraction of the cost of new.
  • Back on the job in days.
  • The same equipment you already trust, minus the rust.

What you get back

  1. 01CostCosts less than buying new equipment outright.
  2. 02LifespanAdds years of service before the machine is due for retirement.
  3. 03ReliabilityFewer breakdowns once the surface and the structure underneath are right.
  4. 04AppearanceLooks like it means business again, inside the yard and on the road.
  5. 05ProtectionKeeps corrosion from taking more ground every season.

How it happens

Strip. Repair. Coat. Protect.

Four stages, one shop visit. The same order every time, whether it's a grain trailer or a piece of yard equipment.

Sandblasting a steel surface down to bare metal
01

Strip

Sandblasting and precision laser cleaning take the surface down to bare metal. Rust, old paint, and scale come off clean, so nothing gets coated over damage we haven't found yet.

Welding a repair on a steel frame
02

Repair

We weld up cracks, replace metal the rust ate through, and true up anything bent. Every repair gets checked before it goes anywhere near paint.

Coating applied to equipment inside the paint booth
03

Coat

Coating is applied in our 60-foot commercial paint booth, where controlled airflow lets the finish cure and off-gas properly and keeps dust and contaminants out of the paint. Primer first, then a finish system matched to what the equipment does.

Sealed, finished equipment ready to go back to work
04

Protect

A final seal locks the coating in against weather, grain, gravel, and road salt. It goes back to work ready for another decade outside.
